Back on the Corvette AC first off it burned a Hose on the header a couple weeks ago so I replaced that evacuated it for like 9 hrs then recharged it with a little more oil, kinda worked at night or early mornings but not at all during heat of day with temps around 115.

So I Tore it back out got a new pump on warranty exchange plus Receiver drier and Orifice tube last night but it wouldn't hold a decent vacuum.
Went back out this morning found the dang leak fixed it and it is Being evacuated now been going since 9 am. Hopefully it works good this time.

I hate Murray Pumps should have insisted on a Better unit.
When I took it apart the special variable Orifice tube I had put in it was bent how that happened I have no idea but didn't look clogged up like the original I took out.

We need ac maybe 2 weeks a year. Can't live without it where you are. It must have been like an oven in your truck when you went to get the bumper.

I'm back to picking away at the stang. Need to sandblast a few small parts, paint them and install under the dash before I can get back to wiring.

I got the Vett back together, seams to work ok. Weird but It started cycling off and on as it should when I got close to two cans in it as I was filling it but it stopped now it just stays running? maybe one of my sensors is bad? Hi side low side? nothing on my Scanner? weird it is working though, I got 30-32 psi on the low side and its putting out 40 degree air as long as its on recycle air..... if I put it to fresh air it jumps up to almost 50 degrees.

I have to clean up shop today and put tools away But should be starting on my VW today too, ordered all the parts last week supposed to be here some time today. It would have been cheaper to buy another car I think!
But I am excited to get it going again at 41mpg will make my commute easier on the wallet! I Love my Vett but the mpg isn't so fun when you drive as much as I do.

Still waiting on Parts for the Bird from a Guy who buys and sells parts for these cars and for me to get with the program as well (been Lazy again!) just so much going on with the Vett, friends passing, Work, rental property, Honey do's.... wait I can come up with another excuse lol

Well at least you can blame the heat for laziness. I've been feeling pretty lazy myself but I don't have any excuse.

You have too much to do on your daily drivers to even get to the projects.

I'm trying to get one of my old trucks started, been sitting quite a while. 89 Chevy, seems to be getting gas but no spark.

Well I ended up needing cap, rotor and ignition module so I just bought a new distributor for a couple bucks more. Also bad coil and shoddy looking wires. Valve covers are cracked and leaking, ordered new ones, they sent the wrong ones, not centre bolts. Got the right ones and now I see they gave me the wrong gaskets. What a hassle

After changing out Driver side Blend door actuator AC was still Hot on drivers side, Then all of a sudden it started working ???????

I hate mystery's and intermittent problems!
End of the week now and its still working......???

Moving on, Started in on VW the head is back on it now have to make a run to Vegas tomorrow as I forgot too take the Fuel injectors over to J&S Diesel to get them cleaned and flowed. [list]That will give me a chance to swing by my Machinist and give him some **** for sitting on the Hemi and not getting anything done on it.

Yeah you gotta hate mystery problems that are intermittent. Usually doesn't work at the worst possible time. My truck heater does that, works most of the time but once in a while it just blows cold air. Next time you drive it, it's perfect again.

Haven't made much progress lately, I need to go through all the bins of parts and sort it all. Can't find whatever I need. Getting frustrated
