I haven't finished with the wiring, can't until the front of the car is together. I have sheathing for it and will silicone it into the grommet at the end, or glue, I'll check that out.
For now it's figuring out the stupid brake system :realmad:

Ya You start modifying stuff and then you get into No mans land that's why I love ORIGINAL!

The Wife's Jeep Commander is in No mans Land with all the engine mods I am doing to it.
Machinist has the Block all bored out Pistons are there rings, Heads are done all new seats valves springs. Waiting on cam and lifters and special Cometic head gaskets took the 5.7 and made it a 6.1 basically with Eagle heads. I should have stroked it! Kicking myself for not!

I have to order headers next (They dont make Hemi headers for that Truck! I have to make a set work from a Hemi Jeep Grand Cherokee work that will require some Modifications to the headers AND the truck to make them work I am NOT looking forward to that!

After I got it in up and running and tuned then I have to install a 4 inch lift kit and 33 - 35 inch tires and make a set of custom bumpers front and rear winch mount and fender flares and rock sliders. Oh and custom flip up Steps to get in and out.
She is a Monster Truck Nut! Loves her Jeeps!

I think I am gonna start making Youtube videos of my Builds what do you think?
I got some serious stuff going on with Calvins junk, her junk and then my own Junk If I can keep the momentum up it might be fun?

Well I'm not totally going off the rails with this, just wanted to upgrade to a dual master for safety reasons. Anyway I found a nice place on the frame and mounted it there, still need to make up new lines to tie it all together.

I think making YouTube videos is a great idea! I'm constantly searching for one to help me with my projects. I would have liked to do one just for this brake bit since there isn't anything I could find that was applicable

Wow been a while
Not much going on here been doing a lot of repairs on the rental got the bathroom done.
Still no engine for the Commander. I am pretty much looking for a New machinist at this point, After using same guy for 20 years I am gonna part ways.
Waiting 7 months for him to produce when hes been paid in advance is too long.

Hows the Stang coming?

Weird that after using the guy for 20 years he doesn't come through for you.
Been more busy doing yard stuff than I have working on the Stang. I've done some of the brake lines but not all. I hope to finish that in the next few days. I got my lokar ebrake assembly, I never liked the under dash pull handle. Looks dumb and doesn't work great. Still have to install the brake pedal, my back hurts thinking about it. Hope it goes smoothly and quickly when I get to it.

Sorry to hear about the hand injury, hope there's something that can be done to fix it. We're no different than old cars, something is always breaking.
My back isn't too bad normally but it doesn't like awkward positions much.

I'm still trying to figure out how the push rod from the master attaches to the brake pedal arm. It's different than the original and I can't even remember how that one did. Searching the internet for a pic that makes sense.

Got any pics of the Hard ware that came with it or whats their now to assemble it?

Your putting Power Brakes in it aren't you?
Should have a Rod attached to brake peddle going into Booster then another extension deal in the booster to the Master cyl. not all are the same though, Didn't the out fit you bought it from have any ideas?

Speaking of Brakes the Vett just through an ABS code and isn't going out and wont clear gotta plug it in when I get home see whats up. Sure hope it isn't the ABS controller deal just priced one out on Rockauto $1500 bucks! Sensors are cheap hope its just that.

It's a factory power brake car, I already converted to front discs long ago. Upgraded to a dual master now. From what I can gather I have this weird arm on the pedal arm that isn't stock? Doesn't make sense but I think if I remove it the push rod will go there. The original master push rod ended at the firewall and had an odd piece that bridged it to the pedal.
I won't know if this will work until I get under the dash and start installing.
Trying to bend a line from the prop valve up and along firewall and then down and around to the right front brake. What a pain!!

Hope the abs works out cheap, $1500 is painful.

Here's a pic of the pedal assembly

I find that Hard to be-leave.
Ford is famous for changing designs multiple times during a production run year Quarterly even.
So I don't buy that it isnt stock myself. What does the MFG of what you bought say to use?
and do they sell it? even if you have to change out the Pedal assembly.
