Not sure about the VFD type, don't really know much about them. The system was designed for me. Really looking forward to having it all finished but that'll take a while. Currently travelling in the motorhome.

Sounds like the Chevelle is back on track. Hope the new job is working out well!

The vacation was great Dennis, been coming and going all summer in the RV. Pretty much the only way I can relax, otherwise I can't sit still.

I'm trying to get my big old Caddy running and out of the garage to make room for all the wood I still have in the paint booth bay. Then hopefully sell it.

Hey Rob
Sounds Like your having fun with The Camper I am looking for one myself.

I am still only home a few days a week but I did manage to get the engine and tranny out of the Chevell and the engine out of my Vett project yesterday.
Gonna start tearing them down today. I need the Vett up and running ASAP so I can put the GTO down for some much needed Maintenance and general repairs.
and of course I still need to get back to work on the Firebird and that dang Plymouth that I have been avoiding. I want them done so I can sell both of them.
I want them all gone all sold Maybe keep one or two but I wanna get rid of all of them right now lol Im spending every weekend on them and it seams like nothing gets done.

Also the Heat here has been incredible this year seams like its getting to me more this year than years past, must be part of getting old? lol
Didn't help that I have Been fighting my Swamp cooler all year trying to get it to cool the shop down better. It's Weird because It has always worked good till I started playing with it this year first it was new Mats.
First I tried the expensive super Blue sponge type mats for it, those were a waste of money! then I bought some expensive super thick wood mats for it and again Fail!! Then I went back and put the el'cheapo thin Wood mats back in it those worked good before but I still wasn't happy with it, So then it was a new water pump from Home depot again fail so I tried too use two water pumps from the same place and again fail not good enough! so Now I purchased a super heavy duty water pump from Harbor fright some P O S 4400 gal an hour one with really hi flow, believe it or not now it works pretty good. I am very happy with this new Pump. BUT the new water pump is showing me how the original water manifold is not up to snuff and I am gonna have to build a new one from scratch! If its not one thing its another!

But for now its cooling the shop down pretty good and I am not gonna worry about it and concentrate on getting these two engines tore down and two transmissions cleaned up and rebuilt and knocked out.

The motorhome has been a lot of fun, very comfortable, with 3 slides it's like an apartment on wheels.

It's been crazy hot here all summer too, not nearly as bad as what you had but way hotter than ever before, 100 degrees in the shade on my deck all of July up to about a week ago when the smoke set in. About 60 fires burning on the island and another 500 in the province, air quality is terrible :splat:

Got the Caddy running after sitting for 6 years and promptly sold it  Now I have room to move all the wood out of the future paint booth and get on finishing it.

I'm in the same boat as you, way too many projects but I did sell 3 in just over a year so that helps a bit.

Yup, still have it. Hope to do a quick refurbish on it after the Stang is finished. Paint on it is really bad and has a bit of rust at the bottom of the quarters I need to deal with. It's a very nice car to drive.

Well guys it’s been a crazy last few months. I’ve been dropping in to stay up to speed with your projects, vacations and jobs. A quick update. May sold the house, closed in early June, Bought a one story fixer upper move in in mid-June. Had a 3 week vacation to Barcelona Spain and Portugal scheduled for last three weeks of June. Packed house up and stored everything and spent three days with the people we were traveling with. Left for Barcelona. The third day in Barcelona got pickpocketed by three teenage girls getting on the subway lost wallet, which I had completely full of all the cards and stuff I normally leave at home during travel. On to Lisbon Portugal then to Porto Portugal for a 6 day river cruse (it was great). Headed to Porto airport for connecting flight back to Barcelona for flight home. It was a 7:30 PM flight and we found out at 7:00PM flight canceled! No other flights out for two days. The four of us are panicked!!!!! We thought of renting a car but it was a 10 hour drive and I couldn’t help as I had lost my license in the pickpocket episode. Then a gentleman that spoke good English offered to help. He and his wife had a small kiosks tour business. It took us about three hours talking to him to establish trust. He had a Toyota van and offered to drive us to Madrid because he couldn’t drive his van into Barcelona. His charge was 600 Euro cash and explained that we then could take the high speed train (another 300 Euro) from Madrid to Barcelona and make our 2:30 pm flight. A long miserable night but we made it.
We have been partially moving in ever sense. We are doing a major remodel and addition with landscaping and a pool…….
Oh yea the car, it is safely tucked in Dave’s spray booth which is a blessing as we just have a 2 car garage which will be added to for a 4 car Garage.
it needs to be lowered with big and littles. .

Wow Doug sounds like a Heck of a Trip, Look at it this way though You didn't have to charge up all your credit cards on the trip!

I hope you were able to get all of your cards reported as stolen soon as possible.
I hate thieves! That had to really really bum you out Not having any ID or you money on such a fancy trip I know I would be.
Congrats on the sale of the Old home and the Purchase of the New home.
Where about is the new home what city are you now?

I am looking for a Fixer upper myself out in Lancaster but wanna be pretty far out of town away from rest of town at least a half hour from work maybe an hour? I have found a few here and there that I would like info about that fit my needs but I haven't tried contacting any one about them yet. my main thing is cheap has a well & power would be nice.

There are so many out there that are flat out abandoned, sitting empty half burnt down and Vandalized. with no for sale signs. I am sure they are Bank owned or are Tax repossessions one or the other, some one has title its figuring out who to contact I'm not sure??? I would think I would be able to go to the Tax board web sight and be able to see who owns ?
