What Clear did you use?
My Paint Jobber outlet folded up out here, I have to go to Vegas now to get Dupont now under the Axalta name.

I use Valspar Debeer, it's supposed to be really good. Must be the painter that's not so good  Last couple panels came out a lot better for flow but the trash is still deeper than I'm used to and I'm still having issues with the sand scratches when color sanding.

Where do you post pics here on the web site? I haven't really searched for it yet.

Crazy times for sure. I've pretty much lost my mind doing the cut and buff. It all looks great through the sanding stages with a sun gun to boot. By the time I finish buffing there's sand scratches everywhere, not at a glance but when you Really look it's there. I've given up, I'll finish the rest of the pieces, build the car and worry about it later. :knockout:

Look forward to some pics of the bird progress Dennis!

Speaking of pics, I managed to copy all my pics out of photobucket, took forever but it had to be done. I'll take a pic one day and figure out how to upload it here :goodjob:

Look at that COLOR!!!!

I'm no Fan of cutting and Buffing anymore I Sand with 1200 Once! that's it! Use the Wool pad and other pads from there.
The Multiple Sanding steps with multiple grits causes more problems than its worth in my opinion.

Dang, I wish I could knock it flat with 1200 and be able to buff out the scratches. I used to go to 2000 and buff the Chroma Premier no problem. No luck with this, it looks good until you really look hard from various angles. What are you using for buffing compounds?

I made an update too my Fire bird thread

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21429&start=60

I have more pics to post after I finish up today, I got the LH wheel well back in yesterday doing the right side today then ALL my Major Sheet metal and Rust repairs will be done!!!!!!
Now the body work stage can begin! along with getting it back on 4 wheels soon.
Its raining out side today so I wont be Sand blasting the Front frame or the rear end today.

Still need to finish blasting the floor clean all the under coating is off and wire wheeled clean but I want to blast it clean as well before Epoxy Paint. I am hoping things start going faster now. Very excited to have all the rust repairs completed and behind me now.
