I keep the Swamp cooler patched up! lol
Its getting old now seams like every year I have to get a Pump for it. Finally cooled off a bit yesterday, but will be back to Scorching with a Vengeance next week so weather man predicts.

Not much to brag about still putting junk on sanding it off. getting better about putting enough on panel. Just more to sand off where its not needed.

I'm down to the last two parts to paint body color. They're repops so I may have issues when I get to final assembly. They're a pretty bad casting, did a bunch of work to them and then sprayed with slicksand. Final sand, prime and paint next.
I called about my wiring harness, they're shipping it Wed, 5 weeks after I ordered it. What's up with that? Did they lay everyone off but one guy?

Did you trial fit those parts before Paint?

Not entirely, I would have to put the whole car back together to truly test fit it. I did fit it to the center section and that seems ok. I already put the whole car back together before final paint and I don't have it in me to do that again for these last parts. Worst case scenario I have to respray the parts of them that you can't actually see. Half of it is hidden behind the headlight and headlight cover trim thing.
Everything that needs to be red is now red :goodjob:

These cover half of the other pieces so I should be ok.

At least you got all your painting done shouldn't be too long you'll have it all put back together!

I don't know, still a lot to do but I guess I'm getting closer to the end.
I'm working on the suspension, cut one coil off and got about 1.25" drop. I'm still quite a bit too high but I'm going to leave it until I drive it for a bit in case it drops some more with use? Have to put lowering blocks in the back.
Hopefully my wiring harness gets later this week. I'm sure that will keep me busy for a while as it's not something I'm at all familiar with.

How's the bird doing?

It all stoped again on Bird had to go back to work and they changed my days off.

Now My Ford Truck is taking front stage, rebuilding front end Ball joints shot and rebuilding the Hubs repacking wheel bearings new seals and such. I cant find parts for my Auto locking Hubs or a Parts break down either. very frustrating. need some special washers....

The auto locking hubs never seem to be as reliable, especially the push button type. My old Dodge is manual and my newer Chevy is auto but it has a shifter for it. Never had a problem with either.
Just when I thought I was done with paint I noticed a small dent/crease in the top of one fender so I fixed it but still have to do a blend and clear coat. It wasn't big but would have driven me crazy if I left it.

What in the world would make 2 washers cost $115
I got a call yesterday that my wiring harness is in so I should have it tomorrow or Monday, finally.
