Ya that was a steel!
I picked up a used Brand new set of BF Goodrich 35 inch tires with custom Alum wheels for my Jeep yesterday for $500 pretty stoked about that! Tires still have the little nubys on them! I am gonna take the 33s off the Jeep put the 35s on and put the 33s on my 69 Dodge 4x4 Power wagon. Then do a Fast clean up and paint on it and sell her off.

I am wondering how many Bags of Glass its gonna take o do the Chassis and the body?
I am gonna say at least 20 if not 30.

Nice deal on the tires and rims. I rarely get lucky enough to find good used stuff for a nice price.
Haven't heard back from the sand blaster supplier.
That's a lot of bags of media, hope you can reuse a bunch of it.

I find that I can reuse media a couple of times.
I sweep it up and put it through a screened funnel, then top of the tank with fresh new media.
For throw away media Black Diamond from Tractor Supply is pretty hard to beat and just $10 a bag.

The last Glass I got was $14 a bag  I picked up 15 bags and have 6 left.
I got too start sweeping it up and screening its just too expensive to waste.

Jim What mesh screen did you use?
I am gonna building something that has a screen with a V shape that will auto pour back into blaster. and just sweep and use shop vac to pick it all up dump into screen deal.
I will probably just build the shop vac into it so it pours through the mesh when I pull the plug on the bottom of the Shop vac.

I have enough sheet metal laying around to build it just have to get some angle iron and screen type mesh that will work.

Wow, it's been a while but I believe it was #16 mesh.
I cut a piece about 5" in diameter to fit into a plastic funnel.

UGH!
I didn't get all i wanted done today as usual!!!
I spent too much time on this dang time waster again!
I wanted to get some Blasting done today.... I set out to do the blasting every day this week and keep letting other things get in my way.... hmm wonder why?
( Because I HATE Blasting! )

So in my endeavor to avoid the blasting I put those new wheels and tires on the Jeep uh that's not looking too great even with a 4 inch lift 35 are BIG! I am gonna have to do some modifications to the frame & body and do a 1 inch body lift min to get articulation room in the rear more about this later when I get time to deal with the issues....

Then I set out to try and raise the dead!!! I tried to get my old 69 Power wagon started The old beast has been sitting for years with out being started, I don't know how long? but I succeeded!
I finally won and got it to run kinda enough too force limp her into the shop with two flat tires both on the right side! Boy does The Carb need help!
It was all rebuilt when I parked it??
(Easy money any way, I love carbs)
So any way I got three of the Jeeps 33s on the Power wagon it has the same 5 on 5.5" bolt pattern but I stripped out the very last lug nut!!!! dam the luck! one of em on the left rear! I tried everything! its done! went looking for my Blow torch CAN I FIND IT??? oh no! Calvin strikes AGAIN!!!!
I gave up at the request of the Ol lady and came in.... I will attack it with my Plasma cutter in the mourning if I still cant find my Blow torch. I will not be denied lol!

The old beast looks Tough! on the one side with such big tires on it!!!! should have done it years ago! I am excited to have it up and running again I love the ugly old beast!

We'll you got more than me done.
I got the gas pedal mounted, easy other than putting the actual pedal and spring on. The rod goes through the firewall from the engine side so pedal mounts after. Awkward as anything to reach the back side of the pedal to assemble it and figuring out how to attach the spring was an IQ test that I kept failing.
Then I bolted the vent knob to the bottom of the dash, should have done that before I installed switches and wiring, had a terrible time getting the nuts on the bolts with everything in the way. I must have been in and out of the car 20 times doing what should have been 5 minutes work. Each time on my back under the dash, it was painful on my old beat up body.
Got a few small bits painted. At the end of the day I felt beat up with barely anything to show for it
Hope today goes better

Today was not as good day
Me and the wife headed to Vegas this morning Oh brite thirty with My Tank.
Made it about 50 miles and then a Funny noise starts then I look at the gauges OMG! Temp was pegged out! OH $!$!$!
Dropped in neutral and let her Coast she cooled right down fast luckily a Gas station/Casino/Big Boy restaurant was right their How lucky was that?

Pulled up to the Semi side they had water and air right there art the pumps! Just like back in the 70s!!!! Popped the hood, I could tell right away I had major problems! everything was wet thought It had blew a Hose but no, put water in it and it started leaking almost immediately from the radiator bottom crawled under it and see water pouring out my Brand new $500 radiator!

So I made a call I hated to make ...... I called Calvin.
The SOB redeemed himself all in one day!

We got it home now The dang AC condenser lower mounts cracked at the bottom and rubbed a hole in the dang radiator core???? I can tell by looking at them that they are fresh breaks! why this happened I have no idea?

What a pain that would be. So much for getting anything done after that.
Not sure if I'm going to get much done today, barely slept last night.

Well I got the Dang wheel off the dodge and put the the new 33 on it minus one lug nut and stud on the left rear. Took the carb off took it apart cleaned it put it back together tried starting it again.... while I did get it started it would not stay running. hmmm...

Why isn't the carb getting fuel?
The Fuel pump has decided its life is over! put some air to the Tank tried to blow some of that old fuel out OMG! no wonder the pump doesn't work!

So tomorrow will see me ordering a new fuel pump and blowing the rest of my fresh 5 gallons out of the tank :( hopefully that cures the known issues for the time being and gets her up and running again reliably so I can get back to other issues at hand like finishing up my sand blasting on the Pontiac parts so I can spray some Epoxy.
