Dang thing drives like a New car very impressed and no ABS lights!!!!
If I thought new hubs would have made such a dramatic change to how the car handles I would have installed them sooner.

Nice when something you fix or upgrade makes a big difference. Doesn't always work out that way.

So in the middle of getting the new roof on the motor for the frame stops working. Brought it home and turns out it's just a fuse. I have a 25 in there and it only calls for a 20 so not sure what happened there. Could be that he over heated the motor if he was moving it up and down a lot? It has a new switch and new wiring but original motor.

Before I could get it back to the upholstery shop the first snowfall of the year hit. Got about 8" of the stuff Tuesday, supposed to get about the same tonight. Could be a while before I can get the job finished.

No fun
I bet he was running motor a bunch
Can you get a new motor? or does the original have to be rebuilt?

My Heart dropped when BMW roofs red light started blinking, pushed button again and it closed properly. Have open it and closed it a couple times since then no issues.
I never have been a fan of convertibles, Now I have one.
But Always liked T tops and Sun roofs?

That's my guess too. Typically, you put the roof up or down once not repeatedly so most likely overheated. We blew the fuse when we were bleeding the system, but it must have gone up and down 30 times. Seems unlikely that he would do it as many times. It is an old motor so could be wearing out. They do make replacement motors so we'll see how it goes, may have to replace it.

I like the idea of convertibles more than I actually like them. The weather has to be perfect, not too hot, not too cold so that really limits it. Usually too cold here and too hot where you are. The Stang definitely looks way better with the top down. I'm not a big fan of the Mustang coupe which is what it looks like with the top up.
