I had to buff some overspray off the hood of the hurst. I used the techniques described here http://www.properautocare.com/crsishin3st.html

The picture below is of the hood standing up on it's side, with the reflection out of my garage door. I plan to do one more application of glaze, then I will use a sealant on it.

I am very thankful for this forum, and the advice I find here.

Thanks Chris.... what sealer or wax would you use on this project. The car is base/clear, and is garaged most of it's life. Car shows and drag races is about it for outdoor adventure.

ZAINO ZAINO ZAINO

Z2 x 3 coats with ZFX accelerator

wait a day or two and then do it again....... true story

Then maybe even Zaino clear seal (Z-CS) over the whole lot when done

You will love it.... a bit dear well over hear anyway but well worth it.

Did you say drag races, man this Zaino is so slick you may even improve your times LOL

Great DOI (Distinctness Of Image)!

I've heard awesome stuff about Zaino over the years. But i'd wait a few
months before sealing or waxing as the fresh paint is still "drying."

Thanks, I will give it a shot! The paint has been on the car for almost two years..... I know, I know, I should have sealed it earlier. Thanks for the help.

What's the difference between "sealer" and wax?
