I like how incredibly straight the whole car is .... Every body line and curve matches ..... That's why the spray job looks so incredibly good !! Maybe oneday with enough practice I could acheive something even close to that :? 8)

I'd love to see a final piccies with the doors and hood fully closed :D

Scheduling hasn't allowed for time to do anything on the car until just Wednesday of this week, where I've been laying out the stripes in fineline tape. Will post more progress as it happens.

Thanks again, everyone.

Looks great. Those stripes blended right in. How many coats of clear did you put on top of them to get them to blend so nice?

Only 2. Later it is going to be scuffed, with special attention to the slight ridge created by the thickness of the stripes and cleared again with a few coats to bury it.

I layed out the front Thursday, much harder than the back, shooting it Monday morning.

so how many coats of clear will this car have when your done??
is it true when you sand the clear down and clear again that it has more shine and dept??
what did you do for prep to get the body so straight..what primers etc??did you use epoxy under the filler??

yeah when you wet sand clear and re clear it gets better looking. What your doing is making it flat, so yo can add more gloss. No too much clear is not a good thing. There is a mill max you need to abide by for durability issues.
