I sure do ... ... had to remove the rear glass to do back there as well.

Got it out with a piece of welding wire and two sticks to hold the ends of the wire with ... Queenie on the inside and me on the outside ... cut it right out of there :)

I definitely would have treated the rust under the patch area. Even if you just sprayed or brushed some POR15 or something to help slow the process.
