Again this forum has help me so very much , with all the questions I have. (more questions then answers)Thanks Guys . Here a few pic's of the Corvette L-88 hood I am almost finished with. Still need one more coat of clear and then cut and buff.

what are those white spots on the hood in the first pic?

Those are holes for the hood emblems, I pre drilled the hood before painting.

Lookin' good. That's one of my favorite hoods from the older Vettes, just screams performance under the hood. Looks like everything laid down nice for you.

Way kewl!!
Make sure you drill a weep hole to drain the water. The scoop catches a lot :) when washing it. Then it leaks all over the motor :(
I had to make an aluminum template for the 454 numbers (they are individual) to make sure they aligned properly. What a leap of faith drilling the hood!!!
I had an Ecklers' hood on a '71 and eliminated the wiper door and raised the fenders - like the '73...
