Those are holes for the hood emblems, I pre drilled the hood before painting. |
Lookin' good. That's one of my favorite hoods from the older Vettes, just screams performance under the hood. Looks like everything laid down nice for you.

Way kewl!!
Make sure you drill a weep hole to drain the water. The scoop catches a lot when washing it. Then it leaks all over the motor I had to make an aluminum template for the 454 numbers (they are individual) to make sure they aligned properly. What a leap of faith drilling the hood!!! I had an Ecklers' hood on a '71 and eliminated the wiper door and raised the fenders - like the '73... Great job db |
