I have 3 holes on each side of my camper shell that i want to fill in. Ive tried resin with chopped fiberglass but cant get it to work right. Should i use body filler that has fiberglass? The small holes are about .25” & bigger ones are about 3/8”.

If that did not work I would suspect this shell could be an SMC piece. That means sheet molded compound. In that case there is a mold release right in the fiberglass itself. You have to use fillers that are rated for SMC and use a different base resin (usually epoxy based). Doesn't look like an area that has much flex so a short strand filler like USC's Duraglass would work there. It is rated for SMC as long as the area is not flexing. If I were fixing that I would make sure there is not any kind of paint in the area and rough up those holes for more surface area.

Its fiberglass not SMC, i guess the reason it wasnt working right cause the resin was too thick with fiberglass strans and wouldn’t lay in hole.

There are three main types of Resins Epoxy Resin, Vinylester Resin, & Polyester Resins. Each has different characteristics.
There is a lot to know when it comes to picking which one to use to repair what.

Besides that you probably have an old can of Resin that's out of its shelf life. Most Resins have a very short shelf life and your better off buying fresh from a reputable source and not at your local paint or auto parts store and defiantly not at Home depot or Walmart.

With that said I would do what Dave said
