This past winter on a below-freezing day, I lifted up my rear hatch and broke off a chunk of plastic near the handle. I can still open the hatch just fine but it's an eye sore, and to replace the panel is a bit expensive, so I'm thinking of just reattaching the piece myself. Never done any sort of body work before, but I'm willing to tackle it. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'm not sure you need to find out what type of material you have. looks like ABS? but I have no real idea I have glued ABS body parts with ABS pipe cement and it worked real good if you have a good fit.
