Since my last post, I have purchased and used the A.N.I. R160-Q with 1.2mm tip. It has definitely made a difference. Would a similar RP gun be suitable for spraying epoxy primer?

Yes, just get a bigger tip. Both the Ani and the Iwata AZ3 are great for shooting primers Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head...
