Good day,

I see that many people suggest a two part epoxy to fix plastic spoilers. I can see that this spoiler is made of PPE+PS (PPX). I am in Canada and it appears to be impossible to get welding rods for this. Should I just drill a hole to stop the cracks, grove out the cracks and add plastic filler or should I try to weld it using PP(E) or some other type of rod?

The images show both the hairline crack that is visible and the more intense cracks on the mounting side. I thought of just using some plastic staples for the underside of the spoiler assuming I can nip or grind them off close enough that they will not hit the trunk lid once it is remounted.

Thanks.

I had another thought....
Since there is a triangular section on the base of the spoiler that is almost broken out, would it be sensible to cut that section out to provide access to the back of the area that has the visible hairline crack and apply a couple of staples? The piece that was cut out could then be replaced with epoxy.

Excellent. Thank you. I was sure that I tried ordering from Polyvance and couldn't complete the order. Perhaps their system was experiencing issues. I just placed my order successfully.

Thanks again.
