Hey, ODG, nice work. I'm curious about something with SMC and it's hard to get straight answers about it with "proprietary technologies" all that stuff. I've always felt that as it ages it becomes much more brittle that regular fiberglass. Seems to chip out and get powdery at the edges. I think it is probably the mold release agent that is cast through it that is causing that. Any thoughts??? Getting answers about SMC is like pulling teeth around here locally. Paint jobbers don't know crap about it.

To be honest,,,I don't look at it long enough to make a comment about it.
I think the sunlight will break it down if exposed to it,,But most of it is painted.

Long story short,,,Used mat with epoxy resin on the inside first, and then used Vett Panel adhesive, and also the flexible glazing puddy on the outside, the next day.
Adhesion promoter for plastic, then a good 2K primer.
