had a little go at airbrushing today,by stencil,bought this stencil

used a cheep airbrush £12 need to no a good airbrush to buy
fail to prepare ,prepare to fail.

looks great! I researched airbrushes last year and came to the conclusion that I ought to get a Sotar 20/20 airbrush, which I did -- and have not yet had a chance to try out. It was around $90 USD.

I vote for an Iwata HP-CS with the cup on top good little paint brush/gun.
I like it, did some stuff with it not much custom stuff YET But its a wicked Touch up gun very precise.

I have the Iwata but like Chris I haven't used it yet. Its been sitting for years and probably because I view airbrushing as art work and know my artistic ability is nonexistent.

Stencils might be a way for me to give it a go but that will have to be later when I have more time. :wink:

I find the airbrush a good tool to fix my mistakes. Keeps the repair area small. Using a stencil is easy enough. But freehand anything is tough.
