Just posting because no one's been here for a long time! Did this 41 Willys, fiberglass body car for a friend. He picked the Blue color, and I added the flames, because I know he loves attention and flashy cars!
A bit tricky, because I wanted it white up front, but going into the candy colors, I wanted a metallic base to make the candy "pop' more. So I had to do a blend from the white to silver. I covered the white with a mix of white pearl, and added some "micro abalone flake" for extra color and reflection. The Candy I did as usual, but added a bit of HOK's MetaJules into the first coat, as it is a super reflective metallic, that really outshines regular metallic bases. Just a tiny bit really adds extra sparkle to the candy! Hard to see it in pictures, though.
Extra pop for Candy flames!
