First I wanna start by saying thanks to all the admin for making a turbine system section.

So got to do some spraying again today.
To Mr.mapleridge I seen your post about your bmw 474 and I decide that’s the next color I wanna shoot on this turbine system.

Martin senour tec base reduce 1:1 with tropical reducer (took forever to flash)
And upol clear up2882 standard hardner.
Sprayfine stage 5. Gravity feed also 1.3 tip

The coverage is awesome with tec base.
I would say the paint goes on a lot heavier than a standard compressor help. So move quick. Very hard to get pics of the actual color

Second panel test
My cousin never sprayed in his life. Didn’t do too bad
Martin senour crossfire mixed 1: 75% medium reducer
Upol clear

Way way better coverage this time with cutting some reducer out .

Still wanna keeping playing with the system but it’s not bad. Inputs and questions are welcome.

Well, I for one think you are doing quite well.... it's very hard for some guys coming from many years of shooting conventional compressed air guns to "adapt" to turbine guns but you are doing great. You are also pointing out an odd feature of these set-ups with your cousin.... guys with no gun experience learn fast with turbine guns. I mean that base he laid down looks textbook to me. I even blew that shot of the base up and ran a special colored filter over it that highlights flaws.....looked good.
Keep posting as much as you want especially with the pic.s.

Wow. That is beyond cool that you are planning to paint with sepia metallic. What car is it going on and is that the colour in this post? I’m beyond excited.

Also big thanks to Darrellk for advocating for this subsection. It’s already kicked off to an amazing start.
