Hello everyone. As a DIY enthusiast, it's difficult to ascertain where to acquire our actual paint. I've done a fair amount of research and still haven't been able to figure out my best choice. I'm painting a hood, front bumper cover and the rear rooftop spoiler. I find it hard to believe that there are companies that provide recommendations on paint products that for example recommend Duplicolor ExactMatch paint as their #1 top pick (most reviews by consumers don't place that brand anywhere near top tier). I'm hoping members of this forum will shed some light on what has worked best for them, including product quality and the suppliers pro's and cons. As of now, I've narrowed my search to "automotivetouchup.com" and "thetouchupshop com". These sites both offer bulk paint (quarts), aerosols, paint pens and accessories. My issue is that there were quite a few negative reviews on how the company performs in the customer service portion of the total package.
Please help me get to a point where I'd be comfortable plunking down money on my paint.
