And if I did buy a 2.2 tip, would I be able to make it spray as if it was a 1.8?

Shoot it with 2.2. Will move fast.

All those 6600 guns from TCP Global are the same, just different colors for different tips. Just buy the 1.8 gun for $39.95. If you need to use polyester primer at some point, you could always buy a 2.5 needle and tip set for $16.95. Some 2k primers can be reduced and used as sealers, in which case they may call for a 1.4 -1.6 tip. For another $16.95 get a 1.5 tip. Now you have a dedicated primer gun for just about any primer available, for $74 plus shipping. If it starts spraying funny, the repair kits are only 10 bucks.
It's best not to spray primer though a gun you use for topcoats.
I have one of those guns, and it sprays primer just fine, even polyesters. Not so hot for topcoats.

Yep,,,To large of a tip will cause problems. AND to small of a tip will cause problems. Go with a 1.6-1.8

Alright thanks guys. Any other sites that are good to order from?

Also, what's your guys' opinion on the Motor Guard M60 air dryers?

I'm just getting into painting and haven't even done a first project yet! Just wondering if this will be sufficient.

Also, what air hose size is usually recommended? Do I need 3/4"? I have 3/8" right now I think...

Thanks again,
Elliott

3/8 is fine. 3/4" is almost the size of a garden hose!. there are a ton of sites to order from. ebay, tcp global as mentioned, tp tools, pivco.net, your local jobber that deals in bodyshop supplies, autobody toolmart, the list goes on and on.

3/8" Hose is all you need for paint, i like to use 1/2" Hose for hungry air tools, but you'll next max the volume out on a 3/8" hose for painting, and you really don't want to be dragging a 1/2" hose around for a paint job either.

As far as 3/4" goes, only seen them in heavy industry, and never in a regular shop.
