I'm just like you in a sense, a hobbyist that enjoys modifying cars, doing diy's etc.. The only thing I havent really tried was painting cars until 4 months ago. I was on a budget so I went with the sharpe finnex fx3000 1.4 tip for paint & a cheap primer gun from tcp global 2.0 tip. I'm not experienced enough as to say what gun is the best bang for your buck. But as a hobbyist for my first time I am happy with my purchase for the sharpe finnex fx3000. & it calls for 9cfm at 29 psi which meets most smaller compressors

I stumbled on this thread while searching for info on the DeVilbiss CVi, there doesn't seem to be much info available.
I am curious about which model(s) you (@Vr4_Rider) finally settled on, and how they are working out. I am a DIY'er in the market for a new spray gun. |
