Why does this 1/4" die grinder cost over a grand?

Well, it is a grand at some places but even a simple search shows they can be had for a little over $600 as well so just based on a few other "features" I'm thinking that is a "factory" style grinder. Take a look at the possible cfm use... up to 55! Seriously, any of you guys got a normal electric single compressor putting out that kind of juice? When I worked in a plastics tool and die department in college we had a lot of tools like that also in those unobtanium price ranges. Why?....because we operated 3 shifts 24 hours a day sometimes running 45 days without a shutdown. Even a Snap-on level tool would have probably cooked in our environment. Ha, ha, I'd give that one piece of crap Harbor Freight grinder I've got about 2 days in that place.....
Metal, wood, fiberglass, we work it all... www.furniturephysicians.com We can restore the irreplaceable!
