Has anyone had experience with the replaceable tip Accuspray guns, Not the turbine systems? I'm thinking about them as a one gun solution.
I'm in a situation where i do a few projects a year that require a gun, sometimes single stage sometimes base /clear and my current gun just does not play well with the clears. It's a HVLP Husky from the Depot with a 1.4 tip, about 5 years old and just doesn't seem to atomize well at all unless i crank the pressure through the roof. By them I blowing so much paint in the air it's crazy.
I do spray different products as needed so being able to switch from a 1.8-2.0 for primer down to a 1.3-1.4 for with only one gun BC/CC seems like something that would work well for me. Of course it's not good if it sprays like poop. I have no need to do overall jobs, it's mostly parts and panels, so laying down paint fast is less important to me than having it go on smooth if that helps.
3M Accuspray HVLP guns?
