2 questions:
1. Solvent I use (gun wash from Keystone) doesn't clean old paint good enough. I guess I need to buy something different.
2.How often does needle rubber O-ring have to be replaced? My "high level" $16 gun was leaking until I replaced the O-ring. Gun part diagram shows O-ring and 2 washers holding it, washers are lost. Are they steel washers or plastic in your gun?
Thanks.
Which gun wash do you use. Needle O-ring replacement?

I use cleaner grade lacquer thinner which I purchase in 5 gallon container from my local jobber.
Don't know about anyone else but I clean my guns thoroughly after every use, apply lubrication periodically and sparingly. Never had to change an o-ring or packing to date. Of course I would never spray paint costing hundreds of dollars per gallon through a cheap gun. It just doesn't make sense. 1968 Coronet R/T
