My cheapest shop vac. has twice the output of that thing. That system has 13 feet of hose, can only produce 2.2 psi and has a 2 mm tip. Motor is rated at 650 watts......you need a lot more "firepower" in a turbine system if you want to paint a car....... you need at least 6 to 10 psi from a turbine, tips down in the 1.0 to 1.4 range are normal, I like at least 35 feet of hose and the motor rating is more like 1400 to 1800 watts on 120v.

Even with just doing wheels I think you'll be dealing with a lot of orange peel..... So that unit retails in the range of about $260 to $370 depending on where you source it from. If you are going to spend that kind of money how about just upping the budget and buying something that can paint well....
