Im seeing this PneumaticPlus brand on Amazon, prices anywhere from $30 for a simple filter to under $200 for a combo set-up. Cheaper than I thought they'd be. Any reason to avoid them for another brand. Or what sort of "minimum" specs to go for.

I have two of the PneumaticPlus SAU4030M-N04DG-MEP Three Stage Air Drying System - Air Particulate Filter, 0.3 Micron Coalescing Filter & Air Pressure Regulator Modular Combo 1/2" NPT - Auto Drain, Metal Bowl systems (quite the mouthful) in two different shops fed off of one compressor.

I also have a 1" moisture trap/air pressure regulator off of the compressor prior to that three stage system.

Where I paint, I have a Devilbiss QC3 desiccant dryer right at my paint hose connection with a different style fitting that only my guns use. I change the desiccant once a year way before I need to. But I am only a weekend hobbyist type. I keep looking at the big ol Sharpe Model 6770 membrane system that apparently never needs to be recharged but so far it doesn't seem that I need it (just want).

I just spread mine out on a Good cookie sheet and dry mine in the oven at 200 degrees for about an hour, stir it a few times. works great saves money.

PD, IDK, the "Pig Barn's" air system is pretty state of the art (for a Pig Barn!)

I guess you are gonna have to teach me how to run that fancy system of yours next year when I "winter over" in Colorado!!

You'll probably also have to explain to your bosses why there is a 65 Caddy, a couple of bike tanks and a bunch of sub boxes in the paint booth and who that old fat guy is over at the paint mixing station!

My apologies to the OP!
