Can anybody recommend a random orbit sander that won't break the bank? Enjoying hand sanding clear coat but I'd like to get this project done in my lifetime. Thank you

So, okay, we've been using orbital style sanders for 27 years in our shops. We've been up and down the line with cheap to expensive....American made to off shore stuff.... Give this one a try.....
https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools ... 64416.html I know, I know, Horrible Fright.... but if you flip up the page on this you can read my review which is titled.... SO FAR SO GOOD.... We've been trying one of these for a little over two months now. Used it with everything from 80 to 600 grit and I like it. The thing says 4 cfm consumption in the add but the box ours came in said, get this.... 2.2 cfm! And, you know, I kind of believe it....this thing can run 3 to 4 times as long without kicking on my compressor.....Buy it and get the warranty,,,if it burns up, get another..... Metal, wood, fiberglass, we work it all... www.furniturephysicians.com We can restore the irreplaceable!

If you want to try an electric I'd suggest this Porter Cable one.
I've been using one like this for about 20 yrs now. Great for dry sanding clear coats. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Porter-Cabl ... lsrc=aw.ds JC.
(It's not custom painting-it's custom sanding) |
