About 15 years ago we had the Rhino Liner franchise here. That stuff is near indestructible and, for me, sets the standard against which to judge all others.

In the last few years I've done a couple of jobs with the Upol Raptor and while it looks nice it isn't as tough as it looks and I've had to re-do a couple of spots where I used it as a high wear layer.

However, for underbody it would probably go alright. Needs a few coats to get some thickness and that tends to make it a touch expensive. Of the non professionally applied products it's probably the best choice.

You can use a normal gun, 2.0-2.5mm for a smoother finish or just a cheap Schutz gun for the more textured look. The Schutz is the better choice for cleanup - it's not easy in either case.

Having problems finding Rhino material there is a dealer in Vegas but looks like they have to apply it.

I have used the Upol Raptor Kit (comes with Schutz gun) as well. Sprayed it over two coats of black epoxy on the underside and floor of this CJ5.

Owner moved to California and drives it on the coastal beaches. Said it is still holding up and looking fine.

Can't compare it to anything else because it is the only bed liner I have applied.

The two pro liners we see around here the most are Rhino and Line X. As for DIY the UPOL Raptor is probably as good as it gets. So I'm just going to mention this as well....We had a chemical engineer on our web site many years ago. He had just gone to work for Dominion Sure Seal. I had a conversation with him at the time and he said I should give their Hippo Liner a try. My son-in-law had just bought an enclosed 6 x 12 cargo trailer with exterior grade plywood floor. We bought 2 kits and some extra hard rubber crumb for it. The two kits allowed us to do the whole floor and half way up the wall sides. We did this just about 10 years ago and that trailer has been beat to death with quads, tools, camping stuff, mulch, ZTR mowers, etc. It is still in great shape and even very little of that crumb as broken loose.

So I just went on over to the Dominion site.... https://www.dominionsureseal.com/
Turns out they have many options worth looking..... Look at that Gator Guard II, it is a hybridized epoxy/urethane that is ISOCYANATE FREE. Hmmm....might have to do some more research on bedliners again....

My vote gets the Rhino Liner also. Almost indestructible. Easy to spray with a Shutz gun.

I don't think Rhino can be applied by anyone but their dealers. I couldn't find any references to retailing it.

Been using it instead of undercoat on my customs/restos for quite a few years. Used a few different brands, Upol, Raptor, included. Just about all the ones that use a hardener work pretty well. Stay away from ones that don't (Duplicolor). Just a regular undercoat/Schutz gun to apply. Rhino, from what I read, needs a special heated gun you have to buy when you get the franchise.
