Any of those Guns are fine with a 1.4 tip for Base coats and Clears having a 1.3 would be good enough in my opinion. I have a GTI But I have heard good things about the Tecna. Dont know anything about Prolite.

Smaller tip not really needed, you may want a 1.8 for Heavy Hi build primer but you really shouldn't be using a Hi build on a Plane either any way.

I would use a 1.3 or 1.4 for Zinc Chromate, and 1.4 for your single stage Base coats.

Poly Primers like Feather fill like a 2.2 tip But I wouldn't spray that stuff through a Nice gun.
or spray it on a Plane either!

The 620G is a good, entry level gun with finish comparable to the FLG5 but better quality manufacturing.

The ProLite is a premium gun and was the Devilbiss/Tekna flagship product until release of the DV1. Some would say that it's still a better gun, certainly more versatile with just an aircap and fluid tip change can handle almost anything you could throw at it. Slightly bigger fan size on the ProLite. TE10 and TE20 are high efficiency or compliant caps and very good for achieving factory type peel. If you want a super flat finish then go for the T110 aircap. Slightly less efficient than the TE10.

Big plus with the ProLite is that it's noticeably lighter. Important when you're doing big jobs, although that 1 litre pot soon negates the gun weight advantage. A much more comfortable gun than the older, straight handled Devilbiss/Tekna guns.

So, in a sense you're not really comparing apples with apples when looking at these two guns. For the prices you've mentioned the ProLite is a clear winner. See if you can swap the HVLP cap for a T110. HVLP finish isn't as good and it uses masses of air (16CFM!!).

I have 5 ProLites, in various combinations and, for bigger jobs they are awesome. I don't mind the HVLP cap for basecoats, but wouldn't use it for clear. Have only used the 1.4mm tip once and favour the 1.2mm with T110 for MS clears, 1.3mm for HS clears and similar 2K finish coats.

The only complaint that I'd have, and it's minor, is that the baffle design with seal is a bit fussy when cleaning. The Iwata is a better gun in this respect, but you pay for it.
