Hi Guys,
As I am gaining more experience and getting better results I have a question. I have always used a medium reducer in temps ranging from '70 to '85. Now I know that a slow reducer is recommended for temps in the 75-85 range I am wondering how much of a difference it really makes by using a med reducer at say 80' (5' over the recommendations)? I'll be shooting base and clear in the 75-80 range so I WILL get the slow one but just curious how much better the final product will be when the temp is so close to each other? Will the slow increase my chances of getting a run in clear, will that be the trade off?

I only use slow reducer. In colder temperatures I just give it more flash time.
If temps get above 90 I have some very slow reducer I can add into the mix. 1968 Coronet R/T

So, in your opinion, as a genera rule, a slow reducer would suite me in the '70-85' range? |
Try it and see.
