Hi, I've just upgraded to a GTI Pro lite from an FLG5 for use as my main gun and will keep the FLG5 for primer.

I used a 1.4mm tip with the FLG5 for 2k direct gloss previously but not sure what the preferred setup is for the pro lite.



Any advice on the best air cap and tip size for 2k direct gloss with the GTI Pro Lite?

If you own a GTI Pro or ProLite your input is still valuable as they use the same air caps and fluid tips.

I currently have the TE20 air cap and 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4mm tips

I have a couple of Pro Lites (well, maybe more than a couple )

Generally, for 2K, I like the 1.4mm tip and T110 aircap.

However, this is not set in stone. Paint viscosity and temperature can also play a big role in my choice.

I'm sure it's not the best setup. But I'm getting some awesome results. Pro Lite, TE10 with 1.3.
