Hey, on the sprayer you might want to check out Facebook Marketplace and filter for maybe within 20 miles or so..... Lot of cheap stuff around me turns over there now compared to Craigslist.....

I don't do Facebook anything!

As far as the Heat pumps go that's what I have now on both of my properties.
Both are 20+ years old now and it's time to update and upgrade both are 4 ton units I am gonna go bigger.
Are electric bills in summer are outrageously hi! so hi I cant talk about it without getting ill.

I want to install Swamp coolers on both properties this next year as well some people don't like them But the one on my shop cools the 2400 sq foot shop nicely when temps get out of hand. I am also thinking about caving in and getting solar panels for both properties.

You'll still pick up a huge jump in efficiency with newer heat pumps because of the change to the 410 refrigerant. Some of those systems are using their own solar panels to drive them. Swamp coolers are used a lot in large greenhouses around here in the summers.

Just get a Graco, I have purchased five of them over the last 25 years, if I need parts they are readily available.
Keep your sprayer clean (sound familiar?)
Go rent one first and have them show you how to cycle clear water through the unit to clean it.
Keep your sprayer clean (sound familiar?)
Talk to the rental place and see if they have any used units for sale.
Go down to your local paint jobber, Sherwin Williams, Kelly Moore etc (sound familiar?) and talk to them to see what they have. I have scored some killer deals while BSing with the counter guy.
Get extra tips.
Use canvas tarps, not plastic.
Back roll everything.
Behr is actually good paint, the people are hit and miss at HD as far as knowledge.
Don't waste your money on any of the Primer and Paint in one can stuff, use good primers.
Use good paint

Well I bit the bullet and bought a new machine a Graco X19.
I wanted to buy Paint as well But the guys at Home Depot Paint department didn't know anything about the Machines and even less about the Paint in their department!
I was blown away by their lack of knowledge! In fact I was so disturbed I plan to contact the store manager and corporate offices about it!
I am sure no one will care but it will make me feel better.

One of them telling me all the paint they have and sell is Latex then another one telling me all their paints are Acrylic and that they don't make Oil based paints any more.

I know at one time Home depot used to care about their employees knowledge when working in a department.

The lack of knowledge on ANY type of paint/finish at almost any level is just the way it is now. Industrial concerns have cut back so much there aren't even rep.s floating around to keep you updated on pro products. Big box hardware stores just hire by sticking a mirror under their new hire's nose to see if he is breathing.... yep, you are qualified. So what would you like to stock and talk about sonny?
In my last 3 industrial inquiry talks I could not get past the secretarial people...... none of them returned calls to me either..,

Ok ended up Buying Bear paint from Home depot, The paint itself seams ok with good coverage.
And that Grayco Magnum PRO X19 Airless

Avoid Grayco Airless its a POS!
Worked great for first 5 gal of paint then went to crap! wont hold a Prime and does not prime after 5 gal of paint gonna return in morning finish job with a rental. Not even taking a chance on a replacement or exchange machine no way!
I made the mistake of not reading negative reviews about the machine on Home depot web sight and there are plenty on the Home depot web sight. Avoid this machine.

I am beyond upset with the purchase I haven't been this upset in a long time! AVOID GRAYCO! its overpriced junk! Wasted over two gal of paint due to problems with it.

I believe it....seems like the stuff has been on a steady decline for the last 3 years or so. I think it is a problem of poor tolerances internally. It's funny my el cheapo Harbor Freight model can even use Graco tips and accesories. Went back and checked and it's been working fine for 3 years now. It's not like I use it a lot but we have shot over 100 gallons through it..... Don't really have another brand to recomend as it was my understanding that Graco was pretty much making most of the other private label machines, anyway.....

I am a bit perturbed still about it! taking it back today when store opens.
I expected a Much better machine from an American made product or at least they claim they are built in America? There web sight claims all the parts are made in America but yet do not post which models are made in America.
Home depot doesn't even list the Pro contractor line that they have. The Shirman Williams web sight does.

I bet like a lot of other companies they farm out the base model consumer stuff over seas.

EDIT/UPDATE

Against my better judgment I gave the Grayco Tech line a Call, To my surprise I spoke with an American speaking gentleman promptly! No 10-45 min wait I mean promptly within 30 sec!!!!!
The Guy listened to my complaint and my displeasure with the machine.
I was told how to fix it quickly I was told a check valve needs to be removed and cleaned and then the machine will work fine again.
I am gonna try it if it works great if it don't its on a one way ride up the street!
I was also told that ALL their sprayers are made here in the USA.

I did not ask why they have facility's in Belgium, China, Japan, & Korea ?????

I will let you guys know what happens hopefully I am back to painting.
