You wont talk bad about them BUT I will! LOL Over priced! rebranded reseller.
Avoid! almost everything they sell can be purchased some place else cheaper!
They have sponsored some great how too videos though with some very talented PRO Technicians using their products. REMEMBER these are PAID FOR ADVERTISEMENTS!
A real pro can work with sub quality and get quality results almost every time they have in most cases learned things the Hard way.
There aint nothing bad about learning the Hard way just remember the Journey to Professional quality anything is Paved by mistakes, Learning from those mistakes and learning how to fix those mistakes.
Just because you Have a Top quality tool of any sort DOSE NOT guaranty quality results!
You can Take any Hi quality Top of the line spray gun Put it in the Hands of a Newb and he wont get quality results! You can take a POS Elcheapo Harbor freight gun put it in a Professional painters Hands and He will get quality results albeit he will probably complain about it in every detail about why its such a POS! and want his IWATA, SATA or ? Back!
That said getting back to the original post idea of what Air System to buy?
Air is the Heart of Any Automotive shop even more so for anyone planning on doing any sort of Automotive refinishing. Buy the Biggest Baddest Air compressor, Piping regulator air filter water drier you can possibly afford as it will be with you for years to come better to have more Air than you need now and grow into it than need bigger down the road!
If you have too small of a system now when your ready & wanting or needing different tools that need more air latter down the road your in big trouble because when you first started you convinced your self smaller was ok and you'll get by with it for now, Now not only do you still need the new tool that uses more air but you'll also need the bigger Air compressor/System to run it. Its a Catch22 deal most of us have been their at one point or another.
The Price between a entry level And Dam good will always be double or Triple But is always cheaper to do right the first time.
Just Like You can Not save money Painting a car yourself! Their is way to much to buy and to much to learn to pull it off. Saving money painting cars yourself doesn't happen till your 6-7th car MAYBE! if you learn quick and buy the right stuff to begin with.
