Hi Guys,

Before I go to my local shop, does anyone know if a gas solenoid that is in an Eastwood welder is sourced from one of the big makers? Here is a pic: https://www.eastwood.com/gas-solenoid-f ... 75-nv.html

I had to do a few internet searches to find the capacitors I needed for the compressor.

Get the pertinent information from your solenoid (part number, model number, etc.) and Google it. Anyone selling a replacement part should pop up. Just be sure to research the supplier and check the reviews on the parts they offer.

PLEASE let us know how the search for parts goes PLEASE!
I am very curious how well Eastwood stands behind the machines they sell.
And who they have for Parts and service.

I'll look into it today. I'm hoping that that part crosses over to say a Miller or similar and I can get it locally. I know it's only $22 from Eastwood but they are out of stock right now.

You will find plenty of them available with a variety of replacements.
Again, research is critical to getting quality parts. Lot's of Chinese knock-offs out there.

Hey Rebel what was outcome? Did you find another source? or were you stuck waiting for Eastwood?

I did look online but could not find anything compatible so I waited and ordered from Eastwood--came in last week.

At least you were able to get the part.

It was not under warranty I take it?
How old is the machine?

I think I bought it at least
yr ago. Long after the warranty expired anyway.
