Hello guys, I am thinking about purchasing the "Anest Iwata Primer/Sealer W-400-LV-WBX, but im not sure what nozzle size to use for the "very thin" Nason Sealer. I currently use a Tekna Pro-lite 1.3 it sprays good but I just feel like it it setting my whole job up for too much orange peel. Others tell me the orange peel is matching "not painters" but painters eye has me doubting the pro lite. The Iwata offers a 1.2 for thin viscosity sealer. Is anyone familiar with spraying Nason Sealers, and also possibly with this very gun? https://www.autobodytoolmart.com/product/anest-iwata-w400lv-wbx-with-regulator/automotive-paint-guns

I use Nason products I have no exp with the Iwata guns though. I here they make a really nice guns though.

I would use a 1.3 - 1.4 for sealer

Orange peal is caused by Painter does not matter what gun you use.
Yes fluid tip does matter BUT again that's usually an adjustment thing that the Painter must do before spraying. I have multiple fluid tips for each of my guns and consider changing them part of the paint gun adjustments. Adjusting fluid flow, Air pressure and maintaining gun distance and speed all play a roll in preventing Orange peel effect along with gravity indicators and dry spray etc.
