Been looking at several I want a Super Nova BUT its a bit steep even after all the years since it came out.

Not sure if I should get a Compliant WS of the HVLP LS ? I am leaning toward the WS.

Then I found this and almost pulled trigger what do you guys think? their are several listed in same price range. but confused on differences between 132 and 134 here again many listed.

My guess that is a link to knockoffs. I purchased a W-101 off of Amazon awhile back knowing that it was a knock off, it was, Amazon didn't care and Iwata didn't seem to care when I let one of their reps know. That being said, the gun sprays alright.

Dennis, the Kiwami series replaces the W100, W200, part of the W400 range and the Wider4. It's confusing, because there seems to be a lot of crossover in the models.

The Kiwami is what I'd call Iwata's "second tier". Good guns, suitable for professional use but not as good as the Supernova. But, much cheaper.

The Kiwami is also much lighter than the Supernova which is surprisingly heavy. I didn't realise this until I was in the local distributor's shop, drooling over a Lotus Special Edition Supernova and picked it up. Even without the cup it was much heavier than my Pro Lites.

Kiwami1 is a side mounted cup.
Kiwami4 is top mounted cup.

Have a look at this chart which might help.

The new Supernova is much improved over the earlier model, so even if a bit expensive still represents their top of the range and one of the best 3 guns you can buy. There are some good deals around on the old Supernova, which is still an awesome gun. I'd buy a Kiwami for smaller jobs but if you're doing full panels to whole cars the Supernova will serve you better. Always go for the compliant or RP over the HVLP. Better transfer efficiency, less peel and lower air use.

Don't think so, mate. They're selling the real thing here for around $300AUD so $160USD is within range.

That said, this one has to be a fake (note shiny finish instead of matt on the real thing)
