yeah after all tacking and everything is complete spray a mist coat on and go right to paint after it evaps, only takes a few seconds

I know I'm super late to this thread, but I bought one of the cheap static eliminator units like the one in the OP. Actually works great! I proved this by using it on one piece of plastic cladding and not another. The anti stat treated piece came out MUCH cleaner, like laugh out loud better. Worth it for plastic parts, at least.

Thanks!! Great to hear a first hand report. I'd be curious if it is better or about the same as spraying with the spray Dave uses. Either way, thanks for the report!!
