I recently purchased one of these Vevor spot welders. I didn't really need it I just wanted it.
It just came in yesterday I haven't unboxed it or even tried it yet I will report back if it works or not My understanding is its not very powerful or it has ability to turn the power down very low so as not to burn through the panel is the claim they make.
Not sure it will really work as well as a regular stud welder or not?

I like My Stud welders but I like the idea of this one spotting and pulling all in one step, my stud welders cant do that.

I am skeptical abut how it works my self, But I figured for light work it may be ok?
I am not to excited about it yet. Didnt get a chance to unbox it yet had to help my Pal Skip install more Linoleum flooring took all day.

We been going to do it every weekend I been off for weeks and weather just would not cooperate, finally got a nice day we could lay it out and pre cut it properly and still tore it installing it lol
Never fails. oh well that's what seam sealer is for right?

Yep. I have a stud welder but have to change and fit a slide hammer to the stud to pull. It's a bit of a PITA at times, so the spotter is better at that. The slide hammer can be a but much though and risk is of pulling too high. What I'd really like is a hand operated lifter, like the ones they use for glue tabs. Squeeze like a pair of pliers while tapping down the high around the edge. For smaller dents this would be much better and not break the bond like the glue pullers do, as well as working on bare metal. Haven't found one yet......

Their used to be several pullers like that on the market for Pins and wiggle wire, I have seen some cheap china knock offs but never purchased any of them.

I know exactly what you mean by wanting to pull while Tapping but having to hold a big slide hammer while tapping is a pain, I been using Vise grips but a puller of some sort is and would be better. Their used to be a T handle deal for pins.
I think this new toy is gonna be more for ruffing in tool rather than a finish tool.

I made a better stud puller by welding on a pair of Visegrips.
