i use my primer guns for flake, due to tip size.

Never thought of that --I use a FLG5 as a dedicated primer gun, perhaps I'll give it a try on some test panels. Thanks!!

I made a dry flake gun very similar to the old flakebuster. Worked well but you need a lot of coats of clear over it to cover the flakes. If you wet spray flake(siphon feed gun) use a ball bearing in the cup it will help the flakes from clumping up.
