I’m going to stripe the paint off the floor pan inside and out. What’s a good wire wheel to do that with? I’ll be using DA to sand where I can. I have used harbor freight wire wheels they seem to throw a lot of wire from them.

Don't use wire wheels.

There are paint stripping discs that are cheaper and work much better. They're also a lot safer, not shedding pieces of wire at supersonic speeds.

I agree to the stripping disks!
BUT I still use Twisted wire for Pitted areas before treatment in a Die grinder ALWAYS were safety goggles The twisted wire is better but they still throw wire at supersonic speeds.

I used these on a low speed (keep the heat down) and they work and hold up well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08W4 ... UTF8&psc=1

I cleaned my part of my frame with a twisted wire wheel on my 4.5 grinder and it was dangerous, would kick back crazy, I'm lucky I didn't get hurt.

I also use these for striping tanks and fenders--also just used one for some large rust bubbles on a Mercedes van I was working on. Works well and long lasting.
