I have an obscure brand name polisher. It's a Neiko 10663A, a 7" disc base (I guess that's what you call it). It's supposed to use velcro wool pads but that doesn't hold it on well enough. It's already slipped off and damaged my paint. Is there a source for a better pad that maybe has elastic or is there something else? I'm not sure about this stuff. I'm new to polishers. Thanks for any help.

The pad base should unscreew. If it does I would toss the wool pads and go with foam pads. Foam pads create less heat and dont burn through the paint as fast. You end up having more control over buffing with the foam pads.
