I am so excited about this, this is a really big deal.
I am surprised no oe has started a thread about it BUT this should repeal the Water born requirements put in place by illegal Regulations put in place by Government agency's and not Congress.
Soo many other BS laws and regulations such as those they used to take BLM property and Ban access to the people by blocking roads and trails restricting access and creating Wild life preserves all over the USA without consent of the House or Congress.
Chevron doctrine repealed !!!!

Yes, too many of the 3 letter agencies have been given way too much authority without governmental oversight.
The idea behind our Republic was that the people remained in control by electing trusted candidates to office, who would work and represent them. These agencies are staffed with unelected people, appointed by Presidents, Governors and Mayors. It is the same with State School Boards. Unelected people making decisions with no accountability to the voters. 1968 Coronet R/T

I don't want to start an argument here, but all the ruling means is that agencies must defer to the courts when there is a question over a statute. Current regulations are not just going to go away.

Wireburn No argument just conversation Were the Law was used correctly I expect no changes BUT where the Federal agency over stepped its bounds in creating or modifying Laws on their own that's what I have problems with. Dennis B.

I get it and I'm with you on that. I just wouldn't use Boebert as an authoritative source on this or really any issue. She clearly doesn't get it. If I lived in Colorado I'd be embarrassed to have her as my rep.

The issue Boebert was making had to deal with Constitutional Authority to pass laws.
No 3 letter agency with appointed staff members has any Constitutional Authority to make or enforce law. That is reserved to the Legislature in Article 1 of the US Constitution. There is also no Constitutional Authority for Presidential Executive Orders under Article 2 either. And although the Legislature did move to grant Executive Powers during Emergencies, they should've subjected them to congressional oversight. Hence a President could claim Climate Change as an emergency and grant himself power to write Executive Orders. 1968 Coronet R/T

We agree on those points as well. One thing this repeal is going to do is empower activists judges of all stripes, line the pockets of corporate lawyers, and stymie any new regulation, onerous or not. It will also hamstring most of Trump's plans to legislate from the oval office.
