I am trying to buy a set of door hinges for my 46 chevy pickup but can't seem to find any that are any good and if I do find any it is like pulling teeth to buy them, very expensive is there any alternitives to the used parts? If anyone has any ideas I would be so gratefull as this is my first experience at building my dream truck. Thanks

Are you missing a set or are yours just pretty rough?

I suspect repro parts are non-existant. That is why good used are expensive. You will have to pay the asking price or maybe work with a machinist/welder about rehabbing yours.

Thanks Jim I guess if I want a dream truck I will pay for it. I will have some more questions on my truck and the body work.
Thanks for this site

Restoration is niether fast or cheap. My feelings are that once you commit to a project, it's better not to try and make a budget. Just pick somewhere to start and progress as you can.
