If you can sell ice to eskimos, the body shop is for you!

might re think a partnership... i just paid thousands to a few individuals to buy them out on some personal ventures so i could run them my way... best advice i can give is do it your self to do it right.

well i'm backed up on cars. had a partner. he was good. but got a dui and was never there anymore. so i walked away and closed up the shop. I now do everything outta my house. But I don't care for strangers walking in my house etc to use the crapper etc etc. Maybe share a body shop would be a better explanation and pay them a cut of the business i bring in.

Build an outhouse.
Seriously, I wouldn't want to hire anyone if working out of my house either.
Where do you store all those cars?
Maybe renting some "off the beaten path" warehouse space might help. Those usually go for less per sq. ft. than a storefront type building. Then you could hire a helper or two, and train them your way.

i have a large property here. i have a few guys i trust to help me in a bind but i have them do them at there shops. But that takes more money outta my pocket. I had the whole nine yards in my last shop. Just hard to do it all by myself. Hell at least an apprentice would be nice to do teardown. basic sanding etc etc. I'll find a partner again i'm sure or be able to rent out a spot in a shop like i said. and give them a small cut to pay for my space i'm using. :allgood:
