Just wondering what, if any, changes some of you have made as a result of the new EPA rules on painting cars. I've never done more than 2 cars a year and always on cars I've restored for myself so I'm not doing anything differently. But a number of people who've seen my work have been stopping lately and asking if I am interested in doing rust or damage repair and repaint on their cars and it sucks to have to tell them the feds made it illegal. Seems like its nearly impossible to start a small business in this country anymore.

If u do no more then 2 u can apply for an exemption. Other then that u need 4 walls ventalation, with filters that catch 98% overspray, & a hvlp or co,pliant gun. Thats it. But i do this every day, so i have no choice, how ever the epa in some places r understaff, & cant regulate, in which case as 68 said, what rules. :goodjob:
Captian OBVIOUS.
