Hello folks,
I am in the market for a new compressor and am relatively naive to my own needs. I am a small but growing custom paint shop and have used a Home Depot 30 Gallon with ok results for years. I want to upgrade to something that is more suited to painting and body shop applications. I do not paint cars currently but it would be nice to have the capacity to do so should I ever decide to go that route. I do some sand blasting but not too much at this point. I would prefer to pay less than 3k for the entire air system if possible. I have done some research but I am still confused on exactly what type, brand and capacity compressor I should have to provide air to my shop. Any advice, links or general information as well as recommendations would be welcome.
Thanks to all,
Benny

hi Benny, I was in a very similar situation and for me the best answer was a Campbell-Hausfeld commercial compressor which was around $2K at the time.
https://campbellhausfeld.com/air-compre ... e7005.html We've had it for two years now and it has been flawless. You need a dedicated 220V 50A circuit for this compressor. It comes in vertical as well. |

That's a Killer deal for a Machine like that if it's every thing they claim it to be!
Being 25 CFM and a True 7.5hp motor at that price Your not gonna beat that not at that price. Thanks Chriss Now you got me looking at selling off Parts just to get a new compressor before they raise the price. Dennis B.
