Compressor Advice For A Small Custom Paint Shop

Hello folks,
I am in the market for a new compressor and am relatively naive to my own needs. I am a small but growing custom paint shop and have used a Home Depot 30 Gallon with ok results for years. I want to upgrade to something that is more suited to painting and body shop applications. I do not paint cars currently but it would be nice to have the capacity to do so should I ever decide to go that route. I do some sand blasting but not too much at this point. I would prefer to pay less than 3k for the entire air system if possible. I have done some research but I am still confused on exactly what type, brand and capacity compressor I should have to provide air to my shop. Any advice, links or general information as well as recommendations would be welcome.
Thanks to all,
Benny
