Does anyone know what the average pay rate at a good bodyshop in Las Vegas is for bodyman or painter? Skill level for medium hits, can do harder hits but not as quick.
Thanks,
Kirk

Dupont guy,
What is the shop rate there? How is the cost of living in Charleston? The shop I'm at(dealership) labor rate is $52 and they are only paying $15.00. I've worked for indies i the past and they pay around 36% but not too many good ones left. How far are you from North augusta? Thanks for the reply, Kirk |

I can't speak for S. Carolina or Nevada but here in FL bodymen make around 20-30/hr depending where you go.
Painters about the same. The only reason I know is because I've been checking up on it as I may need another bodyman in the near future. |

The cost of living is not to bad, it depends on what area your in. N.Augusta is almost a 3hr drive. Take I-20 to columbia and then east on I-26 straight into Chas. Ive got a buddy that lives in N.Augusta |

I have a Uncle that lives in N. Augusta. Sounds like you are ENJOYING
your semi-retirement, I love to fish. Would really be great to get paid to do it, hope your new venture is doing good. I really don't like the dealership environment, I'm more use to the Ma Pa type shops. By the way I'm from Iowa, may be looking for warmer weather in the future. Thanks, Kirk |
