So I'm getting real close to painting my car and plan to paint it apart. My question is, will the panels all match if I paint and clear the cab, doors, and fenders one day, and then paint the hood, deck lid, valances and trim pieces the next. Only so much room in the booth and only so much time each day. All will be BC/CC, a solid non-metallic color. Also, I know there are issues with metallic needing to be painted in the correct orientation, meaning doors should be painted as they set on the car and not laying flat on a stand, but is that also an issue when painting solid non-metallic? Just wanting to make sure everything blends and matches after assembly.

Thanks in advance ~ Lenny B

I paint in pieces most of the time.

As long as you follow the same steps and use the same gun and settings everything should be fine.
